Original Publish: April 14, 2024

And of course, we knew we could improve on it… as humans. And lifetime Las Vegas Locals at that! We’ve seen it all. We’ve even seen it all come and go. Let’s dive in…

1. Explore the Las Vegas Strip

And at number 1, AI gave us out of 199 things to do in Las Vegas, big surprise: Explore the Las Vegas Strip. Makes sense. When you go to Las Vegas, that’s likely what you’ll spend most of your day doing.

2. Visit the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign

An accurate second choice for things to do in Las Vegas. And contrary to what you may think, there are more than one signs! Only one that matters, but if you have a rental car and want to make a day of it, find and visit the others!

A day trip to the main Las Vegas sign can be done by car, taxi, uber, limo, bus, or even walk (long walk depending on your hotel). Expect to wait in line for your chance at a selfie or better, go during sunrise in the early desert summer!

The Las Vegas Sign is located on the south strip about a mile south from Mandalay Bay. After your visit, try Tacos El Gordo! The lesser known (and much nicer) location.

Did we say other signs? Yes, absolutely…

In fact, there are two “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” signs, one on Boulder Highway and one on Fremont Street.

However, if we are adding all the Las Vegas signs, we’d have to include the strip spanning City of Las Vegas Gateway Sign by the Strat and the City of Las Vegas sign a little further north.

If you are in to signs though, a visit to the Neon Museum is a must. Did that make the list, I’m sure it did!

Under construction…
