Total Rewards Advantages
When it comes to players cards in Las Vegas, you will find they are all pretty common. The comp rates are the same, and most cards have now combined your spending with your gambling allowing you to attain high levels with both spending and gambling. I have a friend who achieved Diamond (2nd highest tier) simply from his spending at Las Vegas night clubs.
The Diamond card is where Total Rewards shines.
There are a few products with the Total Rewards Diamond card which may benefit you more than other programs.
- Diamond Lounge access
- Spa and Fitness Center Access
- Pool Access
Diamond Lounge Access
This is the biggest benefit and most notable perk that separates Total Rewards from other programs. At most of the hotels in the Total Rewards network (Cromwell and Linq being notable exceptions), Diamond card members gain access to an enclosed bar where free drinks are served (some standalone hotels don’t serve alcohol such as Harrahs SoCal).
Also at 4pm to 6pm, a small buffet is made available. The quality of the buffet varies from hotel to hotel but in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, the buffet is fully capable of serving as a whole dinner.
The lounge is also a great place to meet other like-minded travelers and casino goers. All of which are at least capable of reaching Diamond card status.
Spa and Fitness Center Access
Las Vegas hotels provide full access to the Spa and Fitness Centers for its Diamond card members regardless of whether they are staying at the hotel (with an exception of Caesars Palace which limits access to Seven Stars members).
While perhaps not an advantage to those visiting Las Vegas, since all the resorts provide nicely equipped fitness centers and spas, it is a great advantage for locals who can forgo a gym membership entirely.
Pool Access
Not staying at the hotel? No problem. Just show your Diamond card and lounge at one of the many fine pools of a Total Rewards hotel.
And much more…
Be sure to browse the benefits page at Total Rewards for a full breakdown of the benefits of having a Diamond card. Besides those above, most of the benefits are pretty typical of a similar level in all Las Vegas player card programs.
